At Salam Academy, all of our students are taught how to memorize the Holy Qur'an with proper Tajweed. Our teachers emphasize the importance of reinforcing the rules of Tajweed during your child's memorization classes.

To ensure that your child is progressing through their Hifz program, our teachers conduct periodic testing of the memorized portions of the Quran after each Juz (section). This enables us to accommodate each individual student according to his or her capabilities.

It is our hope that this program will help prepare your child for further advanced Islamic studies such as being able to teach the Qur'an themselves, lead Salah, and lead the Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan.
